Lou Reed’s “New York Shuffle” will air each Saturday at 6pm (ET) on Sirius Satellite Radio’s “Disorder” channel (70).

The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer will co-host the show, which is re-played Sundays at Noon and Mondays at 4pm, with music producer Hal Willner.





Kelli Ward & Todd Carruth
Eleven-year Art Director Kelli Ward and nine-year Media Director Todd Carruth are leaving the Radio Advertising Bureau for jobs outside the industry.





El Chulo de la Mañana
KLVO/Albuquerque adds syndicated morning show personality “El Chulo de la Mañana.”

Joaquin Garza and cast members Raul Bernal and Denisse Garcia will be heard weekdays 4:30-10am on the American General Media Regional Mexican outlet.





Don Hallett
One-year Beasley Broadcast Group/Las Vegas Hot AC KFRH and Classic Hits KKLZ PD Don Hallett departs.

He joined Beasley as PD of 80s KSTJ “Star 102.7,” which last fall became “Fresh.”

Javier Ceriani
According to The Miami New Times annual “Best of 2008” issue, “Zona Cero” host Javier Ceriani is named “Best Spanish Radio Personality.”

Ceriani recently transferred from Spanish Broadcasting System’s Clásica 92.3 (WCMQ FM) to “Romance 106.7” (WRMA).





Bill Sutton
Debut Broadcasting names Bill Sutton corporate Chief Engineer.

Sutton began his broadcast engineering career in 1998 with Broadcast Tech Service, where he was a contract engineer until 2003.





Tony Novia
Ryan Seacrest Productions adds Tony Novia as Senior VP/New Media Development.

Prior to working as CHR Editor of Radio & Records, Novia programmed WSTR/Atlanta where he hired then teenager Ryan Seacrest.









Ed Whitman
Katz Radio Group appoints Ed Whitman Vice President/Director of Sales of Katz Tri-State Radio Group, which serves 60 suburban NYC radio stations.

For the past six years, Whitman was National Sales Manager for six Cumulus clusters in the Northeast and previously worked at WQCD/New York.





Alli Morgan
Former WZXL, Atlantic City (NJ) morning co-host Alli Morgan joins WBBB/Raleigh for 9am – 2pm duty.

Morgan begins at the Curtis Media Group Rock station on June 2nd.





Harrison Forbes
Effective June 21st, Syndicated Solutions will syndicate “Pet Talk with Harrison Forbes.”

Suburban Los Angeles KGIL will be the flagship although the two-hour Saturday afternoon show will originate from SSI’s studio at ABC Radio/New York.

Thompson is a former Clear Channel Director/Oldies Programming and CBS Radio programmer.





Silvia Del Valle
Silvia Del Valle’s weekday 10am – 3pm “El Show de La Bronca” is now simulcast on SBS/Los Angeles’ KLAX and KRZZ/San Francisco.

Lupita Del Castillo moves to 7pm – Midnight on KLAX.

Shepard most recently was Pinnacle Research’s VP/Client Strategies.

Elizabeth Andrion is Federal Communications Commission Chairman Kevin Martin’s Acting Legal Advisor for Media Issues and Amy Bender is his Acting Legal Advisor for Wireline Issues.

Andrion most recently was Deputy Chief of the Office of Strategic Planning and Policy Analysis.

Bender served as Legal Counsel to the Chief of the Wireline Competition Bureau and was Special Counsel in the Wireline Competition Bureau’s Telecommunications Access Policy Division.

For the past seven years, Burton was Director of Sales for Lincoln Financial/San Diego.

Beasing spent the last 13 years as a Senior Consultant with Jacobs Media and has programmed Los Angeles outlets KYSR and KXEZ.





Jacqui Rossinsky
Interep names Jacqui Rossinsky Executive Vice President/Network Operations for Interep NetSolutions.

For ten years (1991 – 2001), Rossinsky was President/COO at Interep’s D&R Radio.

She joined Interep in 1981 as an AE for HNWH and was promoted to New York Sales Manager; Eastern Division Manager; and to President in 1987.

Before working at Interep, Rossinsky sold for WEEI-FM/Boston and was a media buyer for Airtime/New York.





KRG Promotions
Katz Radio Group boosts Scott Porretti to Vice President/General Sales Manager of Christal Radio.

He succeeds Christine Travaglini, who is now Christal’s President.

KRG also elevates Michael Blauner to VP/Director of Sales for Christal Radio and Rich Vicente to New York Sales Manager of Katz Radio.

Before joining Christal, Porretti was VP/Sales Manager for Katz Radio/New York and Sales Manager of Katz Radio/San Francisco. He began his career with KRG in 1999 as an AE in New York.

Blauner previously was Christal/New York’s Sales Manager and VP/Director of Sales. He started his career with Christal in 1996 as an AE.

Vicente began with Katz Radio as a Sales Assistant in 2000 after graduating from college and was promoted to Senior AE in 2004.

Premiere Radio’s Glenn Beck picks up KFMB-AM/San Diego, KXL/Portland and WRNO/New Orleans as affiliates.
